What size jacket for American Apparel should I get for my size?
I am 5 feet tall and 110 lbs. In jeans I wear a size 3 or 26.. I see a lot of reviews saying that the sleeves are really loose. Will the hoodie overall shrink? & I don't want the jacket too tight or too loose.. The site says since it's a unisex size, girls should order one size smaller...

Order two sizes smaller! I wear an x-large usually but I was able to fit into a medium... in this exact jacket!

I want to design clothes. What do I do as far as schooling?
My initial career goal is to design my own clothes either sell them myself or to other retailers. If I did this, I would design clothes for guys or unisex, not girls. It would be mostly casual/urban clothing like jackets, flannels, hoodies, scarves, socks, sweatpants, shorts, knit caps, hats, etc.
The problem is, it seems like all the fashion design programs focus on women's fashion and dresses. So I am sort of iffy about going to school for fashion because I do not want to learn about women's fashion or dress design. Where and how can I learn to design the apparel I intend to? Is fashion design even geared to me? Is there a better avenue than a fashion bachelor's like a design trade school or intern program? Please let me know what you think would be the best route for me.
